Customers from Or Yehuda

Or Yehuda, a traditional city at the heart of Gush Dan, sends us clients looking for a wig that blends tradition with a modern look. At Alison WIGS, at 148 Ahuza Street in Ra'anana, we give them a warm welcome from every part of the city.

Every wig with us is made from natural hair and fitted individually — to each client's measurements, shade and style. The drive is short, and the natural result is certainly worth the trip.

Getting here by car from Or Yehuda

The drive from Or Yehuda to Ahuza Street usually takes about 24 to 28 minutes (roughly 20 km), depending on traffic.

  • Via Route 461

From Or Yehuda you slip easily onto Route 461, which links to the Gush Dan arteries — a handy starting point for the way north.

  • Onto the Ayalon and Route 531

From Route 461, join the Ayalon (Highway 20) north, switch onto Route 531 heading west and exit at the Ra'anana interchange for 148 Ahuza Street.

Beside the salon is a roomy public car park where the first three hours are free — a convenience that eases the arrival. It is worth arranging an appointment in advance so all our time is devoted to you alone.

The religious community of Or Yehuda

Or Yehuda carries a deep Mizrahi and Babylonian heritage, and at its centre stands the Babylonian Jewry Heritage Center, which commemorates the culture of one of the oldest Jewish communities. Communal life in the city is traditional, and many of its residents fill the numerous synagogues across its neighbourhoods.

Many married women in the city cover their hair, and a quality wig lets them tie their traditional observance to a natural, well-groomed look. We are glad to guide them through the choice with professionalism and respect.

Getting here by public transport

Without a private car you can still reach us from Or Yehuda, usually with a combination of buses:

  • By bus

City and inter-city lines connect Or Yehuda to the Gush Dan hubs, and from there onward to Ra'anana. Get off at the Ahuza Street stop, a short walk from number 148.

  • By train

If you prefer the train, travel to a nearby station, change onto the coastal line and alight at Herzliya, then take a short local bus or a taxi to Ahuza.

Line numbers and times occasionally change, so it is best to check the current route on the Moovit app before setting out.
